Andrew learned to see life through a camera due to the influence of his photographer father. After receiving his Masters degree in directing from The American Film Institute, Hines transitioned easily into directing commercials and music videos. He is currently in development on his first feature film, slated to shoot autumn 2016 in Toronto, Canada. Hines’ video for Big Sean’s One Man Can Change The World featuring Kanye West and John Legend won Best Video With a Social Message at the 2015 MTV Awards. He has directed visuals for A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez, PartyNextDoor with Drake, rising country star Nikki Lane and The Head and The Heart. He has worked with Nike, Gillette, RCA Records, Epic Records, Atlantic Records, Sub Pop, Warner Bros Music, Maybach Music Group and OVO Sound. His short film commissioned by L’Oreal, tells the origin story of Baxter of California through a storyline spanning five decades. The commercial won Gold at the 2014 Hermes Awards. Hines is currently in development on his first feature film, shooting in 2016.
