Jake Scott has been nominated for a 2019 MTV VMA for his geo-targeted ‘Runaway Train’ music video.
Shortlisted in the ‘Video for Good’ category alongside Halsey, The Killers, John Legend, Lil Dicky, and Taylor Swift – ‘Runaway Train’ featuring Jamie N Commons, Skylar Grey, and Gallant is a first-of-its-kind music video that updates with children from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) database, based on where you watch it.
Every year there are over 400,000 reports of missing kids in the U.S, with 61% of recovered children found in the same state in which they went missing. With ‘Runaway Train 25’ M/H VCCP have combined new technology and the power of social media to get missing children in front of more people in more relevant places.
This year’s VMAs will take place on August 26 and will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Find out more here.
