From managing punk and hardcore bands across the world in the 80’s, to designing magazines as a graphic artist, Chris Hopewell is a jack-of-all-trades in the creative world.

Behind the camera, Chris has directed countless pop promos with major international labels including Sony, Island, and Warner and with bands including The Killers, Scissor Sisters, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, Goldfrapp and the Zutons. After winning the MTV Award for Best Art Direction on Radiohead’s “There, there,” he took some time to focus on other creative endeavours. He made his return in 2016 with Radiohead’s “Burn the Witch,” and has since directed videos for the likes of Run the Jewels and Father John Misty.

We’ve known and collaborated with Chris for years now, and we’re excited to announce that he is now a part of the Black Dog Films Family in both the UK, and US!
