Jess Glynne has again teamed up with director Declan Whitebloom, this time for her new music video ‘Ain’t Got Far To Go.’
The Cuban-set video saw the 26-year-old soul-pop singer hit the streets of Havana to film the accompanying visuals to her sixth single from her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh.
“’Ain’t Got Far To Go’ is a really special song for me,” Jess said in a recent statement. Adding, “Making this video in Cuba was so fitting, the journey, the colors, the people, everything was so perfect. We met some amazing people who were so grateful, charming and hard-working and that’s what this song is about. Once again Declan and Jolene brought the song to life and I think it’s my favourite video so far in so many ways. I hope you enjoy it!”
Previously Declan directed a stunningly intimate video for Jess Glynne’s track “Take Me Home” where the bare bones arrangement was matched with an equally pared back and arresting video. This time around they two have explored the colors, the people and the vibrant culture of Cuba. Buckle up for bold suits with clashing prints, a lot of smiles and plenty of dancing.
