We are delighted to welcome director Clément Oberto to the Black Dog family! Clément is a seasoned director of fashion films, narrative, music videos and commercials (some of which you can see beautifully displayed here).
Born in Toulouse, Clément spent 10 years in Paris before moving to Los Angeles. Working as a director in fashion and music videos, Clément has worked on the gamut of filmmaking projects, including a five year video-art series about women in which he collaborated closely with a composer. He’s worked with the likes of Chaumet, Dorian Ho, Lamberto Losani, and directed music videos for Metro Zu, Plaid, Isan, Masha Qrella and Margo.
His narrative work includes several short films, including his most recent, “One Step,” shot in the Mojave Desert. His short “Matin Lunaire” with designer Coppelia Pique was honored at the London Film Festival, Las Vegas Film Festival and selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, while his interactive short “Les Oublies” won Best Short Film and Best Writing Concept at the European Festival Magicien.
His breadth of work is downright intoxicating and just imagine the possibilities when you combine that with Black Dog… because we are!
